​If so, the Kootenay-Columbia School District's Youth Trades Programs may be a perfect transition for you!​​
In partnership with Skilled Trades BC and Selkirk College, Kootenay-Columbia School District offers two trades transition programs.
YOUTH WORK IN TRADES
The Youth Work in Trades Program lets students start the apprenticeship pathway while still in high school. Students participate in paid work with certified trades people, earn apprenticeship hours and high school credits. Students can earn up to 16 high school credits and be eligible for scholarships. .
